Sensational and Gifted Jennifer Bacia

Sensational and Gifted Jennifer Bacia

“A novelist to rival Sheldon…” Cosmopolitan magazine
“Superbly crafted thrillers…compelling suspense.”
The Sunday Times

Jennifer Bacia – the author of eight successful novels, two non-fiction works and dozens of short stories.

She is well-known for her best-selling suspense thrillers:

“A Very Public Scandal”,     “Indecent Ambition”,

“Whisper Her Name”,   and    “Never Forget Me”.

On the 15th of August 2013, we finally met with sensational, gifted, softly spoken Jennifer Bacia who shared with us her profoundly positive spirit and depth of knowledge in creative writing. We were delighted!

We learned from Jennifer Bacia why the writer needs to know the rules before the rules can be broken. How to shape an idea for a book, how and where to research and how an idea becomes the plot and why creating a plot is all about problem solving. She explained and demonstrated why the preliminary thinking process is important. Why story writing is all about conflict. What connects strong plot, believable motivation and changing character and how the plot’s thickening is related to complications and embellishments. Why actions must have significant consequences through motivation and conflict and how important it is to set the right location, background and to create a strong opening.
